  • Junior - Weekly email - Friday 25th November

Fri 25 Nov 2022 CSG Junior School
    Dear Parents / Carers

It has been a busy week in school with two open days and our parents evening meetings this week.

Year 6 Acacia have their last swimming session on Wednesday 30th November. Please can children bring in t-shirts and lightweight trouser bottoms for this session - pyjama type or leggings but not thick joggers. Plus a spare bag for the wet clothing and a spare towel might be useful.

Mrs McAuley - we are very sad that Mrs McAuley is leaving our school to move to a new job in Wycombe starting next month. We will miss her greatly but we all wish her well in her new role

Pupil Premium - information for parents about our Pupil Premium offerings are on the school website here

Lost property - we have a lot of lost property in the box in the dining hall at the moment. Named items are returned to children and our year 6 monitors help with this each week. Any items left in the box at the end of term will be disposed of

Christmas Jumper Day - Christmas Jumper Day is Save the Children's annual event which raises money for children in the UK and across the world. Every December, millions of people across the United Kingdom (and beyond!) put on a festive outfit at their workplace, school or with friends and make a donation to help give children the magical future they deserve. Our school Christmas Jumper Day is on Thursday 8th December. Children may wear a Christmas jumper or decorate their uniform jumpers for a suggestd £1 donation to Save the Children.
