P4C KS1 - Monday 15th June

Dear All


This week I have been listening to the birds in the garden. It made me think about listening carefully. It can be hard to really listen when the world around you is busy. Try this activity:

Go to the website https://www.rspb.org.uk/birds-and-wildlife/bird-songs/what-bird-is-that/. Choose a couple of bird songs and try to learn them off by heart.


Now go into the garden/open the window/or on your daily walk- listen really carefully to the different bird songs you can hear. Can you identify one of the bird songs you learnt? Can you spot the bird singing it? This activity is quite challenging but it is really lovely to stop for a little while and listen to the birds singing!
