Woodland Trust Tree Planting
This term, Vicky from the Woodland Trust held an assembly for us around the book ‘The Man Who Planted Trees’ by Jean Giono. The children learnt how one person’s actions can make a huge difference, both to the environment and to other people.
The Woodland Trust kindly donated a range of tree saplings to the school. With the help of some wonderful, willing volunteers, these have now been planted around our school grounds. These photos show our fabulous volunteers planting some tree saplings in an area that will, in time, hopefully become a wooded trail area for the children to use!
