JRSOs

What is a JRSO?

JRSO stands for Junior Road Safety Officer.

The job of a JRSO

JRSOs are a very important part of our school. They are volunteers from our Year 6 year group who help raise road safety awareness and promote road safety issues to everyone in the school and the wider community.

Here are just some of the activities our JRSOs get involved in:

  • Take assemblies on road safety topics
  • Run competitions in the school and organise prizes for the winners
  • Get involved in organising safe and active travel activities such as walk on Wednesday

We are always keen to hear any new ideas and suggestions for making the journey to school safer. Please do get in touch if you would like to talk with us.

Please check back soon for more information about the work done by our Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSOs).

Copies of our school Parking Promise and the Safe Zone are available on the School Travel Planning page - see link below.
