  • Weekly email - Friday 6th February

Fri 06 Feb 2026 Junior School
    Dear Parents / Carers

Weekly Attendance - we will continue to monitor attendance this term. Attendance at the Junior School this week is 91.5%, and the year to date is 95%. We are aiming for an average of 96% this year.

Sickness and diarrhoea -as you can see by our low attendance this last week (91.5%) we have had a lot of children off poorly with cases of sickness and diarrhoea as well as seasonal coughs, colds, sore throats and temperatures. A reminder that if your child has sickness and/or diarrhoea, even just the one episode, they need to stay off school for 48 hours following the last bout to reduce the spread of any infections. Thank you for your support.

Lunchtimes - We will be trailing a slight change to our lunchtime routine from next week to make our lunchtimes a little smoother for children and staff. This will mean that each year group will always have the same sitting - Year 3 going first, then Year 4, 5 and finally Year 6. The children have been told in assembly today as well. We will review this in the weeks after half term.
