    Mathseeds
We are very impressed with the number of children logging on and completing lessons this week. It is also great to see how much Mathseeds is helping to develop key maths skills as this can be seen in our day to day lessons. The class who has engaged with Mathseeds the most is Ruby class with Diamond class in 2nd place. The children who have completed the most lessons this week are:

    Pearl - Lyla and Joshua
    Sapphire - Barnaby and Karter
    Emerald - Scarlett and Vinnie
    Ruby - Elena and Harriet
    Amethyst - Araelia and Toby
    Diamond - Oliver and George

    Parking
A polite reminder from the Guide Hut: please do not park in or block the entrance to the Guide Hut.

Sadly we have received another complaint from one of our neighbours regarding inconsiderate parking. We do ask on the parking promise (which all parents agree to) not to park on School Lane or other roads around the school. Please park away from the school and take the time to enjoy a walk and talk with your child to and from school.

The NHS has prepared some useful guidance for parents/carers regarding when your child should stay at home. Please view the information here

Thank you for your continued support in this area.

    Parking on Silver Hill
The Parish Council have received several complaints about parents parking on double yellow lines on Silver Hill at school drop off and pick up times.
The Parish Council have had the traffic wardens to the location on several occasions as well as the police and are now looking at longer term measures to prevent drivers from parking in this area as it causes a danger to all road users.
Please can we remind you of the parking promise you agreed to when you joined the school and not park in the areas around the school including Silver Hill and School Lane.

There will be three prizes available when the winning entry is drawn in January. Adults can vote for their favourite window using the link below.  The shop window with the most votes counted in January will win a prize and be awarded the prestigious Best Dressed Window Cup.
Entry to this competition can be found at Christmas Competitions in Chalfont St Giles 2025 | Chalfont St Giles Parish Council. You can either complete the form online or download a paper copy. Paper copies are also available in the Community Library on the High Street.

The second competition is the Christmas Tree Trail. There are 10 trees located around Chalfont St Giles High Street and Three Households. The trees have been decorated by groups and charities, and you can vote for your favourite tree. The tree with the most votes will win a cash prize.
