Junior - Weekly email - Thursday 28th March

Dear Parents / Carers

Thank you to all of the parents who helped with trips this week - with both the Year 5 walk to visit two different churches in Chalfont St Peter and the Year 4 PE festival. Without parent helpers we would not be able to do these activities so your help is very much appreciated. Also thank you to Gold Hill Baptist Church and Chalfont St Peter Parish Church for welcoming year 5 into their churches for the day

Comic Relief message from the charity -Thank you so much for taking part in Red Nose Day 2024. We couldn’t have done it without you and your school! THANK YOU you for all your fantastic JustGiving donations - total collection by CSG Village School was £478.50

Clubs for the Summer Term - details of clubs in the summer term have been sent out by email today and details are also on the website here. Please note that new register lists are set up each term so please sign up your child for clubs that they wish to attend.

Menu for Summer term - the summer term menu and allergen details are available on the website here. Details have also been added to ParentMail so that you can place meal orders for next term. Please remember you need to book these 7 days in advance - so for the first day of term please remember to book by Monday 8th April.

Children's toys in Year 3 - As some of you are aware the children have been bringing in and playing with toys from Legends of Arcadia Powerstorm. Unfortunately, a few toys have been broken and the children are struggling to play nicely with them. Based on this, we have made the decision to not allow these toys after the Easter break.Thank you. Miss Balaam and Miss Payne

Year 4 trip to Neasden temple on Monday 22nd April - Year 4 are looking for one more parent helper for the trip on 22nd April. Please contact the school office if you are able to help in the morning.

Year 6 Careers Day - Year 6 are hoping to give the children some exposure to different careers they may be interested in in the future. We are hoping that this day will be on Tuesday 18th June (this is the correct date). During the day, we would like to invite parents to come in and share their careers with the Year 6 children. The career talks do not have to be long or detailed, the children enjoy hearing about your careers, seeing some pictures, uniform or equipment your job requires. If this is something you would be willing to do, please can you email the school office, stating your career and when you would be available to come in on Tuesday 18th June - more details here

Lost Property box - a reminder that the main lost property box in the Dining Hall will be emptied over Easter. Please check if you are missing any items.

School Uniform ties do not need to be worn after in the summer term

Junior School Amazon Wish List - for future gifts, it is always lovely to know who has sent them so we can thank you properly! The link to the gift list can be found here https://amzn.eu/fVdAqFF. Thank you to the kind family that sent in some copies of The Boy who Biked the World.
