Junior - Weekly email - Friday 25th April

Dear Parents / Carers

We hope that Year 4 enjoyed their visit to Neasden temple on Monday and thank you to the parents who helped with the trip.

Well done to the U10s football team who reached the 3rd/4th place playoffs at the football tournament at Robertswood yesterday. The came 3rd out of the 12 teams competing which was a fantastic result.

Sports Week - Carousel of Activities on Monday 24th June - as part of our sports week we will be having a carousel of activities on the afternoon of Monday 24th June, from approximately 1:30pm until 3:25pm. If you are able to offer a sporting / physical activity that might be part of our carousel then please get in touch with Mr O'Sullivan through the office for further information. The activity would run with each of our 8 classes in turn for about 10 mins.

Parking near the school - please can we ask parents not to park in the Middle Meadow area as we have had complaints from residents who have been unable to access their properties. There is free parking up by the playing fields with a level footpath all the way to the school gates.

Year 3 - PE Festival - we now have enough parent helpers for the trip on Monday. Many thanks

Year 5 - Planetarium Day - we still have a shortfall on donations for the Planetarium visit on Friday 3rd May. If any Year 5 parents are able to make a donation by Monday 29th April that would be much appreciated. The ParentMail payment item for this visit is still open.

Year 6 - Leavers Hoodies - a reminder that hoodie orders need to be placed online with Mapac by Tuesday 30th April - link here to order form

Reading Club - Mrs Franklin will be running the Reading Club in the library on Wednesday lunchtimes. This is a drop in club so no need to sign in

Junior PTA Summer BBQ - there will be a non-uniform day on Friday 5th July when the PTA are asking children to bring in filled pots of tombola items. Pots will be sent home with the children earlier taht week

Junior School Amazon Wish List - for future gifts, it is always lovely to know who has sent them so we can thank you properly! The link to the gift list can be found here https://amzn.eu/fVdAqFF. Thank you to the kind family that sent in some copies of The Boy who Biked the World.
