Junior - Weekly email - Friday 23rd June

Dear Parents / Carers

We hope that Year 4 enjoyed their visit to the fascinating Neasden Temple on Tuesday and that Year 3 enjoyed an exciting, although tiring, day at PACCAR yesterday. Thank you to staff for organising these trips and to the parents who helped on the day

Thank you to CSG Village library for opening specially for our Year 3 and Year 4 children to visit this week so that they could explore the library and borrow some library books.

School uniform we have had a slight change to the school uniform policy. Summer Term Uniform - summer dresses may be worn and ties do not need to be worn in the summer term

SEN Meetings for children on SEN Support - The Parent-Teacher SEN meetings for the Summer term will be taking place w/c 10th July.  Targets sheets will be sent home the week before for parents/carers to read and review.  Attending the summer meetings will be current class teachers and teachers for next academic year.  Please look out for an email from Mrs Bannister with more information soon.

Hobbies Day - please note that Hobbies Day has been moved to Friday 14th July - all other details remain the same. We only have 8 groups signed up so far so unless we get a few more this event may not be able to run. The deadline to sign up is Monday 26th June - details here

Dangers of Open Water Swimming - Please take a moment to view the video below produced by Bucks Council, the Fire & Rescue Service and Thames Valley Police - and pass it on to friends and family members. Even if you are unlikely to try open water swimming yourself, the video includes advice for the public on helping anyone who gets into difficulties when doing so. Many thanks.

Head Lice - we are seeing more cases of head lice than usual in school across all year groups - please check your child's hair regularly and treat it if required. We ask that long hair is tied back. NHS info here . Thank you

Sports Week is next week

They will also need to be able to take part in normal classes and activities during the morning. They may add a few extra items for the walk in the afternoon though. Sponsor forms are available here or paper copies are available from the school office and donations may be made on ParentMail - payment item Walk4Books - Sponsored Walk 2023.
