Junior - Weekly email - Friday 1st December

Dear Parents / Carers

We hope that Year 4 enjoyed their Roman day on Tuesday - there were some fabulous costumes. Thank you to the Year 4 teachers for organising this workshop day. We are looking forward to seeing the Year 3 Egyptian costumes next week.

Year 6 - after completing our latest Literacy text, Skellig, we would like to celebrate this with the children by watching the film. This adaptation of the book is a PG so we would like to ask again please for your consent. Please can you complete the google form here if you are happy to give permission for your child to watch this in class.

PTA Smarties Challenge - we are delighted that this event raised £318 and Oak class won the prize as the class who raised the most. A huge thank you to everyone who supported this challenge

Reading volunteers - thank you to our team of reading volunteers who come into school each week. Your help listening to children reading in school is very much appreciated. Next week is the last week that we will have children reading with volunteers (ending Friday 8th December) but we are looking forward to seeing you in school again in the New Year.

Christmas post - The Junior School Christmas Post Service opened today for children to send cards to their friends in school. Please can the recipient child's full name and class be written on the envelope. We ask that no chocolate coins or sweets of any sort are included with the cards. Many thanks
