Junior - Weekly email - Friday 19th May

Dear Parents / Carers

Year 6 have been working extremely hard this week, creating and selling their Mini Enterprise products. We hope that they all enjoy their trip to Chester and North Wales next week.

Thank you to Mr Tew for providing a fascinating career talk in assembly on Monday.

Bake sale - Thank you for buying our cakes on Friday. We (Tommy, Elliot, and Samuel) all really appreciate your support. We really enjoyed baking and selling our cakes to you a lot. At the end, we had roughly 20 cakes left out of about 200 - which is really good for us. The money raised has gone to BDMLR. They are a charity who save stranded marine animals such as seals, dolphins and whales. We hope you enjoyed our cakes! You can read more about the charity here www.bdmlr.org.uk - Tommy, Elliot, and Samuel.

Maths workshop - we will be holding a maths workshop for parents / carers on Friday 9th June from 9am to 10am. Meeting in the dining hall at 9am. If you wish to attend please sign up here

Netball update - Sadly, the netball team were defeated by Seer Green yesterday , in a very strongly contested game that ended 8-7. It was a very good performance against a strong team. Well done to all the Year 6 Girls who have played this year. We hope they have enjoyed their netball this season and will continue to play in the future in their Secondary Schools.
