Junior - Weekly email - Friday 15th December

Dear Parents / Carers

We have had a busy, Christmassy week in school. We hope that everyone enjoyed Tuesday's carol service. A huge thank you to all of the children who read lines or played music to accompany the carols. Thank you also to Mr Holmes for organising the services and supporting the children.

The PTA held their annual Pop Up Christmas Shop in school this afternoon for children to choose presents for their family members - we hope that everyone enjoys their gifts and a huge thank you to the PTA and all of the parent volunteers who have wrapped presents and who helped children select their gifts today.

Christmas Jumper day was a very colourful day today with some fantastic jumpers on display. Thank you for supporting the All Together Community Fridge charity with your donations.

Parsonage Road - please, please do not drive up Parsonage Road or park in Parsonage Road at normal drop off or pick up times. We had a near miss on Thursday morning when a white car reversing down the pavement nearly hit a child. There is free parking in the village or by the playing fields. Thank you for your support.

The Course aims to help young people make a successful transition from school years 6-7 by looking at the practical and emotional aspects of moving to secondary school and to give them strategies to cope.
