Junio r- Weekly email - Friday 31st January

Dear Parents / Carers,
Thank you to all of the children who have applied to audition for the Music and Arts Evening on Thursday 25th March. Mr Holmes is holding auditions during school over the next few weeks.
 
Year 6 trip to Harry Potter tour at Warner Studios on Tuesday. Year 6 children will all need a packed lunch on Tuesday. Any school meals ordered for that day will be cancelled by the office.
 
Head lice - we have some cases of head lice across the school - please remember to check your child's hair regularly and treat it if required. We ask that long hair is tied back. NHS info here. Thank you
 
CSG Charity Fun Run -  1st Chalfont St Giles are delighted to offer their first event charity fun run, supporting 3 of their fabulous leaders/volunteers to raise money and awareness for their chosen charities in the build up to the London Marathon.
Mrs McCarthy, Ben and Dale are all running the London Marathon for charity - full details on the event page below. Sat 8th Feb, 9am. CSG Scouts Hut. 2km and 5km routes. All ages and abilities welcome - come and join us - the more the merrier.

Wake up to Amersham Music Centre - we are pleased to offer children at your school who play an instrument or love to sing, the chance to participate in a fun event we’re hosting at Amersham Music Centre called ‘WAKE UP TO MUSIC CENTRE’. The event will take place on Sat 8th February, at the Amersham School (HP7 9HH) from 9am to 12pm - details here

 

Smart Raspberry Cookery Club - Half term holiday camps - details here

 

Bucks County Concert Band - two day course in the Easter holidays for wind, brass and percussion players who are grade 3 and upwards. The group will rehearse for a day and then perform alongside Buckinghamshire Youth Wind Ensemble at a concert in Wycombe Abbey School – 9th and 10th April. Please do share this with your pupils/parents – there’s no upper or lower limit and they don’t have to audition or have taken any exams! - details here
