Infant - Weekly Email - Friday 8th September

Dear Parent/Carer,

It has been lovely to welcome everyone back to school. Our new Reception and Nursery children have thoroughly enjoyed their induction sessions and there were lots of smiling faces. We are looking forward to continuing our Growing Great Learners activities next week with lots of interesting lessons planned.

Earrings
Children are not permitted to wear earrings of any kind in school, including retainer earrings. If your child has their ears pierced please ensure that the earrings are taken out prior to coming in to school. Children should not have earrings taped over, they must be removed.

Mobile Phones
We would like to remind you that as a school we take safeguarding very seriously and accordingly, it is our policy that mobile phones are not to be used whilst on the school premises. This includes whilst visiting for class reading on Friday.

Please can you ensure that your phone is not just on silent but switched off whilst on site; this is to protect both you and the children.

Break time Snack and Water Bottles
If children are bringing in their own snack from home please can it only be fruit or vegetables. Fruit winders are not permitted.
Water bottles must only contain water, no squash please.

Pick Up from School
If someone else is collecting your child from school please can you contact the school office by midday.
