Infant - Weekly Email - Friday 26th January

Dear Parent/Carers,
A reminder that children should not be wearing smart watches which connect to the internet or have capacity for phone calls, messages or taking photographs.
Well done to all the children who have logged onto Mathseeds this week - it is great to hear so many of you are enjoying it! The children who have spent the most time using it from each class this week are:
Ruby - Carina and Minnie
Emerald - Daisy and Mya
Amethyst - Ayla and Immy
Diamond - Ava and Reha
There are still spaces available at both the lunchtime tennis club on Wednesdays and the after school PFO football club on Thursdays. Please see here for further information and to register.
School Information
School starts at 08.55 with the door opening at 08.45. If you are late please can you sign your child in on the tablet in reception.
If your child is absent please call or email as early as possible stating why your child is not at school with details of any illness.
Please let us know before midday if your child is going home with another child as we need time to let the class teacher know.
The school is looking to update its website and signage. If there are any parents who are professional photographers that would be willing to donate their services to the school we would love to hear from you. Please contact either school office.
Zebra crossings raised tables - public consultation
Please see the information below from the Chalfont St Giles Parish Council

You may be aware that Chalfont St Giles Parish Council proposed a number of traffic calming measures to Buckinghamshire Council through the HS2 Road Safety Fund. The only suggestion that was supported by Bucks Council was to raise the tables on the zebra crossings on the High Street and on Deanway.

There is now a public consultation running until 18 February to explain exactly what is proposed and to ask the public to complete a short survey.
