Infant - Weekly Email - Friday 16th June

Dear Parents,

 
It was lovely to see all of our visitors in school this morning for our Family Day and we hope you all enjoyed coming! Thank you to our wonderful PTA for running the cafe.
 
Maths Story Books
We would like to introduce a maths focused storytime once a week to help children embed key skills through stories. If you would like to help the school and donate a book, please click on the link below:
 
Understanding Maths

Photography Competition
Next week there will be some homework set on Google Classroom which is linked to the photography competition at this year's Village Show being held in September and our science learning.

Please note you will have to submit any photos if you would like to enter the competition.

  • Tennis (lunch time for Year 2)
  • French (after school for Reception, Years 1 and 2)

Friday 30th June: Sports Day from 10.30 for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 followed by the opportunity to enjoy a picnic with your child/ren.

Friday 7th July: Achievement Assembly - Ruby parents invited
Wednesday 12th July: Leavers Assembly 9.15 am
Thursday 13th July: Flower Festival in Village Church 9am - 10am
Friday 14th July: Achievement Assembly - Emerald parents invited - DATE CHANGE
Tuesday 18th July: Reception trip to Whipsnade Zoo - more detail to follow
Friday 21st July: School closes for the summer at 2 pm
