Infant - Weekly Email - Friday 16th July

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have to come to the end of our last full week of the year and the children have enjoyed lots of different activities.

Nursery enjoyed a visit to the Little Chalfont Nature Park where they took part in bug hunting amongst other fun activities. Year 1 had a multi skills festival and participated in different sporting events. Year 2 have filmed their leavers assembly and we would like to thank Rachel Nelson for filming and editing the final cut. More information will be available soon.

Enjoy the sunny weekend.

Circus, Animal Experiences and Bug Hunting

Thank you to those parents who have donated to these events, if you haven't already and would like to these events are still available on ParentMail.

PE Kits

During the Autumn term we will trial PE kits being worn to school on the days that the children have PE. Parents and children will be advised about PE days at the beginning of the academic year.

Children will need to wear the school PE kit as specified in the uniform policy which is here on the website. Please make sure that warm layers - joggers and badged tops as specified in the uniform policy are worn if required on the day. details of our uniform suppliers PMG are here.

Lunch change - reminder

Please note that on the last day of term (21st July), St Josephs will not be supplying the normal roast lunch.  Instead the children will be having Cheese & Tomato Pizza with a Muffin for dessert. (please see our website for the list of allergens).    Please check your account on ParentMail to delete or add lunch where required.  So as not to delete the existing orders for that day, the menu will still show the roast dinner, but we will automatically serve your child pizza and a muffin if they are on the list.

Parental Help at School

We are well under way with our plans for September. We are very hopeful that our return in September will be as near normal as possible. With this in mind we are considering a number of options for lunchtime, before and after school clubs. If you have the skills, knowledge and experience to run a club or support the running of a club please do get in touch with us. This could be anything from art to team games or music. Please email the school offices with your interests and availability. Thank you.
