Infant - Weekly Email - Friday 15th November

Dear Parent / Carer,

Painting over October half term
We would like to thank Buckinghamshire Building Society for painting our Year 2 classrooms over the October half term.
The children and staff are delighted to see their newly painted classrooms.

Scooter Rack
The scooter rack at the bottom of the ramp by the school hall is now available for children to use.
Please walk in the playground with the scooter, do not let your child ride in the playground or on the ramp.
If you leave your scooter in the rack it is with the understanding that we do not take responsibility for them and suggest scooters are named. You are welcome to bring your own lock if you would like to.

Mathseeds
Well done to all the children who have logged onto Mathseeds this week - it is great to see so many of you using it. The class who has engaged with Mathseeds the most is Amethyst class although Emerald class was very close in 2nd place! The children who have completed the most lessons from each class this week are:

Emerald - Alex and George
Ruby - Joshua and Siena
Amethyst - Caleb and Joseph
Diamond - Isla and Asher

CSG library visits
This week, children in Years 1 and 2 visited our local library, where we listened to lots of lovely stories read by the volunteers and had the opportunity to look around the library at the books.
We have sent home application forms in book bags for anyone who would like to sign up for a library card. Please take the form down to the library to get your card.  Borrowing books is free and you are able to keep them for up to 3 weeks.
Both Reception classes will have the opportunity to visit the library after Christmas.
If you have any questions about this, please speak to Mrs Bannister.
