Dear Parents/Carers,
Strawberry Fayre
It was lovely to see such a wonderful turnout at our Strawberry Fayre last weekend. Thank you to all those who attended and/or helped. The fayre raised a fantastic £8700 for the school, which is a record! We would like to say thank you to the PTA and helpers for all their hard work. The time and effort required to put on an event like this is considerable and we know there were a lot of very tired people on Saturday evening. Thank you everyone!
Pearl Class assembly
Well done to Pearl Class for their wonderful performance this morning! The class retold the story of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' beautifully and sang their song all aboout caterpillars very enthusiastically.
Mathseeds
Unfortunately we have not had as many children using Mathseeds this week so we have decided to give certificates to the children who have completed the most lessons across the school, rather than per class. The two classes who have completed lots of lessons on Mathseeds are Pearl and Sapphire - well done to you all!
The children who have completed the most lessons are:
Pearl: Marnie and Siena
Sapphire: Jasper, George, Toby and Jessica
School meal changes
Please see earlier email dated 10/6 with reference to changes to the lunches on certain days
Playground Equipment-Nursery and Main Playground
Please do not let your children play on or with the playground equipment before or after school. The toys are all prepared for the children to use during the day not before school starts. Thank you for your understanding and support with this.
