Well done to the teams who played so well in football and netball matches this week.
A massive thank you for all of the harvest donations. Thank you also for the generous donations to support Macmillan - the total donated by everyone was £220.
Weekly Attendance - each week will let you know the weekly attendance for the whole school. We are aiming for an average of 96% this year. This week, attendance was 95.1% at the Juniors.
Papaya workshops - Papaya (parents against phone abuse in young adults) aim to help children and parents think about the impact of smartphones. They will be visiting us over the next two weeks to work with each year group.
Parking - we have had several complaints from neighbours about cars being parked across or blocking driveways on Parsonage Road. Please park away from Parsonage Road - there is free parking at the Bowstridge Lane playing fields with good footpaths leading to the Lagger Close and Lower Playground school gates
Illness - a quick reminder that if your child is unwell and needs Calpol, or other pain relief, to alleviate symptoms such as a temperature, they should stay off school that day. Thank you for your support.
Head lice - we are regularly seeing cases of head lice in school - please remember that long hair should be tied back and to check hair on a regular basis - NHS advice is available here
Netball tops - please can netball players check if they have any of the team tops at home still as we are currently missing 6 of the new tops. Thank you
School meal ordering - If you need to cancel a meal, you can do this by contacting the office by 9:30am on the day. Please either phone, leave an answerphone message or email junioroffice@csgvillagschool.org.
ParentPay - to view your booked meals on ParentPay:
- Log in to your ParentPay account at www.parentpay.com.
- Select the child whose bookings you want to view by clicking on their circular icon or profile.
- Find the meal booking section by clicking on a button called "View taken meals and menus"
- Or if you look to the right on a PC or scroll down on a phone you should see "Lunchtime meal activity" or "View taken meals and menus" to look at future or previous weeks. You should have a green tick on days where a meal has been booked or a red cross where nothing has been booked
- View your bookings on the displayed screen, which shows the meal choices for the current week and allows you to navigate to other days or weeks.
Our School Amazon Wish List - link to the Junior School gift list can be found here https://amzn.eu/fVdAqFF. Thank you for the donations of tissues, glue sticks, whiteboards, pocket wallets and paper clips that have been received in school this week.
