Junior - Weekly Email - Friday 23rd January

Dear Parents / Carers

We hope that the children enjoyed the performance of Cinderella this morning.

Weekly Attendance - We will continue to monitor attendance this term. Attendance at the Junior School this week is 94.1% and the year to date is 95.3%.

Drama club - there are a couple of spaces in the Year 5 and 6 Drama Club. If your child would like to join Mrs Thomson's club on Tuesday lunchtimes please can you email the school office. Thank you

Illness - a quick reminder that if your child is unwell and needs Calpol, or other pain relief, to alleviate symptoms such as a temperature, they should stay off school that day. Thank you for your support.

Head lice - we are seeing cases of head lice in school - please remember that long hair should be tied back and to check hair on a regular basis - NHS advice is available here

Office hours - a reminder that the school office is open between 8:30am and 4pm. Outside of these hours please email or leave a message on the answerphone. Thank you

Early doors opening - parents are welcome to pop into class, to read with your child or look at work books, from 8:45am until 8:55am (gates will be open from 8:40am on Fridays)

Year 6 PE day today - children to come to school in clothing suitable for PE today - trainers, no earrings and hair to be tied back during PE
Music lessons - Piano and Woodwind lessons with Mrs Wayman, BMT - in the Music Room at the start of the day
Music lessons - Drum lessons with Teach me Drums - in the Music Room during the day
Dance Club - with Pips Dance Academy in the Main Hall from 3:30pm to 4:15pm - open to all year groups - pick up from Main Hall
