Junior - Weekly email - Friday 21st March

Dear Parents / Carers,

Comic Relief Day - thank you for supporting Comic Relief day today. It was lovely to see so much red in school today. You can still donate via our JustGiving link here. We hope to be able to share our total next week. Many thanks

Respecting areas near to our school - It has come to our attention that there have been some concerning issues during school pick-up and drop-off times. We've been notified of litter, including sweet and crisp wrappers, being left and cars blocking local residents' driveways, particularly in Gordon Way. Please make sure you dispose of any litter properly and park considerately, respecting our neighbours' access to their properties. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining positive relationships with our community.

Netball friendly match at Little Chalfont - the year 5s team won 24-0 and the Year 6s lost 9-6 in a close game. Well played to everyone as ever.

Football U10 girls cup competition - the Year 5 girls played three games at this tournament beating Robertswood 2-0, Losing to Holtspur 1-3 and drawing with GX 0-0. The games were very close and they played really well as a team, supporting each other and rolling on and off when being substituted. They missed out on qualifying for the semi-final on goal difference. They should be very proud of how well they did.

Year 5 Churches visit on Thursday 27th March - we would like to have another parent helper on this trip if possible. If you are able to help please can you contact the School Office or speak to a Year 5 teacher. Thank you

Family Days in school - we are very pleased to announce our Family Day sessions will take place on Friday 23rd May (from 9:15am to 11:30am) and Friday 4th July (from 9:15am to 11:30am).  Family members are welcome to come into school on those mornings

Sports Day - this has been confirmed as Friday 27th June

Music and Arts Dress Rehearsal - there will be a dress rehearsal taking place in school on the afternoon of Monday 24th March. Please can all children who are taking part, bring in their music, instruments or any equipment that they will need for their performances. The rehearsal is only for the children in school to watch
