Junior - Weekly Email - Friday 20th March

Dear Parents / Carers

Weekly Attendance - Attendance at the Junior School this week 95.6%, year to date 95%. We are aiming for an average of 96% this year.

Comic Relief - a massive thank you to everyone for supporting this charity day - between both schools  we have raised over £250 which is brilliant

Young Arts Painting Competition winners - congratulations to Theo in Year 5 and Brytini in Year 6 who won prizes in the recent Year 5 and Year 6 art competition. There will be an awards ceremony for winners in Chalfont St Peter library this weekend

Author Event on Wednesday 22nd April - Tor Freeman - Join Tor for an engaging and creative session that brings her illustration process to life. Through guided drawing and visual storytelling activities, she introduces pupils to the techniques behind her work, offering an interactive and inspiring experience designed especially for primary school audiences.

Second in a hilarious full-colour graphic novel series by the award-winning Tor Freeman, perfect for fans of Jamie Smart's Bunny vs Monkey. Come with Shirley as she falls down a hole into the Under-Underworld... Shirley follows her cockroach companion George into the Under-Underworld and finds herself immediately crowned as queen. With Peels, a banana-skin royalist, Shirley travels across the junkyard of this new world to rescue George and confront the Huge Beast who has been terrorising the land. Click here for the Order Form Letter

Year 5 - individual pupil letters have been sent home today. This letter explains how to provide Bucks with your details via an online form. This will enable you to receive 11+ results in October. You can also complete the online form to withdraw your child from the test. There will be an information meeting in May to discuss the Secondary Transfer process.

Year 6 Food and Nutrition Lesson - Please can each child bring in one piece of empty food packaging (box, carton, packet) for Monday's lesson. Please can it have the 'traffic light' nutritional information on the packaging. Thank you

Parking near the school - please can we ask parents not to park in the Middle Meadow area as we have had complaints from residents who have been unable to access their drives. There is free parking up by the playing fields with a level footpath all the way to the school gates.

Netball report - the Green team played their final match in the league on Wednesday evening. They won 10-7 against Chalfont St Peter Academy after an exciting game. Esmé was player of the match and this win means that CSG have won their league. Congratulations to all players and a massive thanks to Mrs Farshchi for coaching the club this year.
