Dear Parents / Carers
Weekly Attendance - Attendance at the Junior School this week is 92.7%, and the year to date is 94.9%. We are aiming for an average of 96% this year.
We hope that Year 6 enjoyed their visit to Hazard Alley this week.
We are looking for a couple more parent helpers for the Year 4 PE festival on 3rd March and the Year 5 Churches visit on 23rd March. If you are able to help please speak to your class teacher or contact the office. Thank you.
The PTA are holding their Valentine's Bake Sale in the Dining Hall after school today. Thank you to all of the PTA helpers for organising some fantastic events this term.
Year 3 DT - Next term, Year 3 will be making pneumatic toys and are looking for cardboard boxes with hinged lids (such as shoe boxes or tea bag boxes) and balloons. Please can children bring them into school in the first week of term. Thank you, Year 3 Team
Illness - A quick reminder that if your child is unwell and needs Calpol, or other pain relief, to alleviate symptoms such as a temperature, they should stay off school that day. Thank you for your support.
School Lunch Ordering - If you would like your child to have school lunches after half term, please remember to order on ParentPay.
Netball match report - another win on Monday for the Gold netball team, winning 6-2 against Gerrards Cross. Esmé was POM for GX but CSG's pick for POM goes to Riya for scoring the opening two goals in her first ever match!
Football match report - the U11s lost their cup match on Tuesday against Prestwood Juniors - the team played really well in awful weather conditions and the game eventually went to penalties
PTA Update
Thank you to everyone in the school community who has supported and volunteered over the first half term of the new year. It takes a village!
Fundraising totals for events this half term:
- Break the Rules Day- £471.12
- Taylor Swift Tribute Concert- £1430 (split between Junior and Infant Schools' PTA).
Both events were enjoyed thoroughly by all!

- Easter Bake Sale on lower playground - Thursday 26th March
- Easter chocolate hamper raffle draw - Thursday 26th March. Tickets to be launched over the half term break via classlist so keep an eye out.
