We have invited M&M Productions into school to perform a live production for the children and this year the pantomime is Cinderella. This show will provide the children with a first-hand experience of live theatre with opportunities to get involved through audience participation.
Obviously such experiences come at a cost to the school so we shall be requesting a voluntary contribution of £4.60 per child towards the cost of this performance. We feel that this represents very good value for money, especially when compared to the cost of going to a theatre to see a live show. There will be one show for the Infant School children and one for the Junior School children during the morning of Friday 23rd January
As the show takes place within school hours, under the terms of the 2002 Education Reform Act no charge can be made by the school for the pantomime. We therefore invite you to make a voluntary contribution of £4.60 per child to cover the cost of this production by M&M Productions.
There is no obligation upon any parent to contribute in this way; it is entirely voluntary. All children will be able to take part in watching the pantomime regardless of whether parent(s) have been able to make a contribution. However, if we do not receive a sufficient sum in voluntary contributions the visit will have to be cancelled since we could not cover the cost from the school funds. Please can any contributions be made by Monday 24th November 2025.
