Infants - Weekly Email - Friday 2nd May

Dear Parents/Carers,

It's been a lovely sunny week and Year 1 had a fabulous time at Waddesdon Manor on Wednesday where all of the spring flowers were in bloom.  Thank you to everyone for their help on the trip.

Cyber Security Training Presentations
Thames Valley Cyber Protect team are inviting parents and carers to join engaging and informative Cyber Security training presentations. These sessions will share easy-to-implement tips for parents/carers regarding theirs and their family's online behaviours and internet-enabled device usage.

This session covers key topics, including:
  1. Emails and mobile phones : The art of spotting a scam – lots of hints and tips to share with your children around phishing and other scams.
  2. Social media safety : The risks around social engineering, disinformation, AI, privacy and hacked accounts.
  3. Gaming : Understand what the risks are to young people when gaming, particularly online, and discover ways to monitor and restrict usage.
  4. Password mastery and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) : Helping you and your family to secure your accounts following best practice.

PTA Update
It's all about the Strawberry Fayre. SAVE THE DATE Saturday 7 June.  It is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the school and a fun day out for the family BUT WE DESPERATELY NEED more volunteers.
  • If you are keen to do a bit for the PTA but can't make a full commitment then join our Strawberry Fayre planning group. We need people who will help make the day a success, there are big and small jobs to do. Please join this WhatsApp group and you'll be welcomed with open arms! Or email csginfpta.treasurer@gmail.com
  • We also need some muscle crew. If you are strong and can help with some heavy lifting and shifting on Friday 6 June or Saturday 7 June (set up or clear up) please join this WhatsApp group. We have to put up fencing, move a heavy inflatable assault course, tables and heavy electrical extension cables.
  • Classparents will also be asking for stall volunteers to give an hour or so of their time on the day.

Please help, it is a fabulous day, but it doesn't happen without you!
