Coats
Please could children bring a coat to school everyday even if you think the weather will be good.

Weekly Attendance
Each week we will let you know the weekly attendance for the whole school. We are aiming for an average of 96% this year. This week, attendance was 95.6%.

Mathseeds
Mathseeds is an online maths programme for children which we would love your children to be using at home. It is full of fun, interactive lessons to help embed key maths skills which they are learning in school, as well as improving their understanding and problem solving skills further. It is great to see some of you have already been using it this year!  Your child's login details can be found in their reading records but please ask your child's teacher if you are not sure where to find it.

Each week in our Friday assembly, we will celebrate the children who have completed the most lessons, so please encourage your children to log on and enjoy the lessons set. This will be starting from this week with certificates given out next Friday.

Communication with school
Please could we remind you to always use your child's class name when emailing the school with information regarding your child.

Reading and Phonics Information Evening - Wednesday 26th November
On Wednesday 26th November, we will be holding a Reading and Phonics information evening to explain how the children are taught phonics and reading in school and to discuss how parents can support their child's learning at home. We will cover topics including our phonics scheme: Bug Club, how we teach reading across the different year groups and the importance of reading for pleasure.

Please can you complete the google form if you plan to attend, so we can gauge numbers and make necessary arrangements.  The session will begin at 6pm and last for roughly an hour.  Unfortunately children are not able to attend.
