Infant - Weekly Email - Friday 12th December

 Dear Parents/Carers,

Christmas Productions
It has been a very busy week with all of our Christmas shows. The children were brilliant and we are so proud of each and every one of them! Thank you to everybody who helped to make these events so special. Thank you to our wonderful PTA for supporting these events. If you have taken any pictures or videos of the productions please can we remind you not to post them on social media sites.

School Emails
This week we have had a number of parents who hadn't ordered tickets for the school productions and also hadn't ordered the Christmas lunch for their child.  Please can we ask parents to fully read all communications sent from the school in order to avoid your child missing out on important occasions.

Christmas Jumper Day
Everyone looked very festive in their Christmas or blue jumpers on Wednesday. Thank you for your donations to Diabetes UK, we have raised £105.50

Science Challenge
Thank you to everyone who has completed the science challenge for this term.  There have been some wonderful submissions which are on display in the corridor and the Year 2 shared area.  All certificates have been given out but if your child did not receive one, please contact the school office and we will let Mrs Mannion know.

Lunch changes
Following the email at the beginning of November about lunch changes, please check that you have ordered lunch for your child (if required) for Wednesday 17th December & Friday 19th December.  These were the days orders were deleted and parents had to reorder.  As the ordering window is now closed, if you have not ordered lunch for your child on these days, you will need to provide them with a packed lunch.

Midday Supervisor role
We are looking to recruit a midday supervisor on a fixed term basis. If you or anyone you know may be interested in this position please email the school office.

Head Lice
We have cases of head lice in school, please could we ask you to check your child's hair and treat it if required. We ask that long hair is always tied back.

Please see here for NHS information here.

Weekly Attendance
Each week we will let you know the weekly attendance for the whole school. We are aiming for an average of 96% this year. This week, attendance was 95.6%, year to date, 94.5%
