PSHE Wellbeing DayPSHE Wellbeing Day – 11th July 2025
Dear Parents/Carers,
We are delighted to be able to offer the children a Wellbeing Day on Friday 11th July. The day will
enhance our PSHE curriculum which is taught throughout the year. On the day, the children will
participate in a range of activities which will focus on how to be kind to others (including people who may
be different to them) and how to look after their own wellbeing, including in the online world.
As part of this day we are delighted to be able to welcome back Antonia Tindley Dove, Director of the
award-winning ‘AWAKE’ company. AWAKE lists the following amongst its recent achievements:
“Distinguished Teaching” Award, UK, 2024
“Best Primary & High School Well Being Workshop Experts” Award 2024 - South East England
The sessions she offers are very short and are an opportunity to teach the children about our breath, what
that is and where we feel it in our bodies. She has some crafts prepared for us too. Antonia will be talking
about love and looking after our mind and bodies.
Nursery’s session will be held on a different day to be confirmed.
In order to fund the sessions, we are asking families for a voluntary contribution of £1.50 per child.
You are able to make your voluntary contributions on Parentmail.
The deadline for voluntary contributions to be made is Friday 27th June. If you have problems making
payment via ParentMail please contact the school office. While this is a voluntary contribution, if we do not
receive a sufficient sum the event will have to be cancelled since we cannot cover the cost from school
funds.
We look forward to an exciting and beneficial day.

Reception - Willows Activity Farm
More events...
Reception - Willows Activity FarmAs part of our topic work Pearl and Sapphire Class will be visiting Willows Activity Farm on Wednesday 16th
July 2025.
The cost of the trip is £19.65 per child. During the day the children will have the opportunity to play on the
outdoor play equipment and enjoy a tractor ride. We will not be going on any funfair rides or using the indoor
play area.
The children will need to wear their school uniform with trainers and bring their lunch in a small rucksack with
an additional drink. All children will wear a Hi-Vis vest which the school will provide. Please do not order a
lunch on ParentMail or cancel it if you have already ordered a lunch for this day.
According to the forecast, please supply a sun hat, waterproof coat and apply sun cream at home.
This is a voluntary contribution, however, if we do not receive sufficient contributions the trip may no longer
be viable and we may have to cancel it.
Payments are to be made via ParentMail. If you have difficulty in making this payment please contact the
school office to discuss in confidence.
As part of the payment process you will be asked to give your consent for your child to attend the visit. Parents
are also reminded to inform the school regarding any changes to medical conditions and other considerations
of your child including any changes to emergency contact numbers.
If you have a Chalfont St Giles Village School DBS and are available to help on the trip, please contact your
class teacher.
Yours sincerely
