Junior - Weekly email - Friday 3rd May

Dear Parents / Carers

It has been a busy week in school. We hope that everyone has enjoyed taking part in the two PE Festivals, netball match, football festival and planetarium visit, all of which were fitted in this week despite the mixed weather.

Year 2 / 3 transition week - in June there will be a transition week to give the Year 2 children a chance to visit our Year 3 classes during the mornings - a copy of the information letter sent to the Year 2 parents is available here

Year 3 visit to Milton's Cottage - On Tuesday 14th May Year 3 will be visiting Milton's Cottage in the village during the afternoon - we will need three parent helpers for this visit. If you are able to help with this visit please contact the school office

Year 3 Woodrow Trip in July - details of this day trip have been sent out this week. We will need some parent helpers for this day trip so if you are able to help then please can you contact the School Office or speak to your class teacher. Thank you.

Year 5 PE Festival on Monday 13th May - we still need 3 parent helpers to make this trip possible - if you are able to help please can you contact the school office or your class teacher. Thank you

Interhouse Day on Thursday 9th May - children will be taking part in a sporting competition in house teams on Thursday. Please can all children come into school wearing PE kit with house coloured TShirts. (House Colours for T-Shirts are Air / Blue, Earth / Green, Fire / Red, Water / Yellow)

Netball match reports against Butlers Court - U11s won 8-4, player of the match Evie S and U11/U10 mix lost 6-2, player of the match Belle S. Both teams played really well against two very strong teams and should be very proud of the results

Junior School Amazon Wish List - for future gifts, it is always lovely to know who has sent them so we can thank you properly! The link to the gift list can be found here https://amzn.eu/fVdAqFF. Thank you to the kind family that sent in some copies of The Boy who Biked the World.
