Junior - Weekly email - Friday 10th November

Dear Parents / Carers

We really enjoyed the inspirational visit by author Robin Stevens yesterday. She gave a fascinating talk about her books and very kindly signed books for children. Thank you to Chiltern Bookshops and Mrs Mannick for organising this visit.

We are very grateful to the Community Library for opening their doors to our children this week and next.

Parents evening - our next parents evening meeting is on Monday. Tennis Club and PFO will still be running on Monday but note that PFO children will be changing in the Art room and not using the Main Hall

Donation - many thanks to the "CSG Netball Mums" netball club for their kind donation to the school. We have just purchased a much needed second football team strip using some of this donation. New adult players are always welcomed if anyone is interested in joining this local netball club

Parent readers - thank you to parents who are coming in to read in class with children during the afternoons. We are still looking for volunteers so if you would like to come in and help as a regular reader please contact your class teacher or the school office. Oak in particular would love to have a few readers to come in. Thank you
