Special Support Assistant

We are currently seeking Special Support Assistants to work at our Village School supporting children with learning and/or medical needs. If you have the enthusiasm and energy to work collaboratively with our staff, governors, parents and children to build on the strengths of this successful village school we would love to hear from you.

The role, starting in September 2026, is part/full-time on a fixed term contract and will be on Bucks Pay 1b point 6 - 10 depending on experience (£24,836.00 - £25,823.00 Full time equivalent salary).

About the role

  • You will work with a named child within the classroom supporting learning across the curriculum.
  • Prepare and plan learning with the class teacher.
  • Monitor the learning of the individual child and feedback to the class teacher.
  • Lead interventions to support pre/post learning as planned by the class teacher.

Midday Supervisors

We are looking for kind and friendly individuals to become Midday Supervisors at our Infant School, working Monday to Friday from September 2026. 

Our midday supervisors support children both in the lunch hall and in the playground during the hours of 11.45 - 1.30pm. You will also assist with the setting up and cleaning of the lunch hall before and after the service.

This is a fixed term contract and the rate of pay is £12.77 per hour.
