PTA - Infant School
Hello and welcome to the Chalfont St Giles Infant School and Nursery PTA which was established to raise funds for the school and to provide social activities for its parents and pupils. As well as fundraising, the PTA serves as a valuable link between the school, the parents and the students.
We are passionate about our school and raising money to help enrich our children’s education. The money we raise helps to pay for additional resources and equipment, which all of the children directly benefit from.
Typical events that we might hold include the Kids Christmas Parties, Wreath-Making Evening, Pamper Evenings, Curry and Quiz Night, Family Breakfast Cafes, Playground Sales and the main event, our annual Strawberry Fayre. Please do keep an eye on Classlist for details of what’s going on this term!
Contact us
You can contact us by emailing csginfantpta@gmail.com or via ClassList (www.classlist.com), which we use as our primary communication tool and for tickets sales to all of our events.
FUNDRAISING FOCUS
In 2021/2022 you helped us to raise an amazing £17,974, which has:
- Part funded an additional Learning Support Assistant for the school
- Paid for improvements to woodland-learning facilities across the school including covered areas and pond clearing
- Provided a new interactive white board for Nursery
- Paid the schools photocopying expenses
In 2022/2023 our target is to raise £12,000, but we need your help. Our fundraising focus this year is to:

Meetings: The PTA meet twice per term as well as the AGM and run smaller sub-committees for specific events. We alternate our meetings from in the daytime to in the evening so that both working and stay at home parents can attend. If you would like to find out more about joining the PTA or becoming a friend of the PTA, please come along to one of our meetings, talk to us, or drop us an email. We’d love to hear from you!!

Supermarket voucher scheme
Do you shop in store at Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Sainsburys, Waitrose or John Lewis or buy fuel at CSP or Amersham Tesco? If so, you can earn commission for the school by ordering gift cards each month at no extra cost to you, to spend in these stores.
How does it work?
The school makes a bulk purchase of shopping vouchers and receives a percentage back from the retailer (for Tesco its 5%, Sainsburys and Waitrose / John Lewis its 4%). In 2018 a total of £2800 was raised through this scheme alone! If you would like to participate or find out more information please email CSG.Shopforschool@gmail.com. There is no obligation to do this every month and you can choose whatever amount suits you.
