Reception letter - Friday 3rd April

Dear Pearl and Sapphire Classes,

It has only been 2 weeks since we had to stay home from school but it feels like ages since I last saw you all.

I hope you have all been busy doing some school work but I also hope you  are enjoying being at home with your families.

I have been busy in my greenhouse planting all the seeds I had bought. I am growing lots of salad vegetables and onions, garlic, potatoes, carrots, parsnips and kale too.

Sapphire class sunflower seeds are growing well and the tallest one is now 30cm. I think they rather like the greenhouse and I have put a heater in there to keep them warm at night.

As you already know, I live on a farm so I have lots of fields to walk in with my dog. She loves me being at home with her all day.

I love playing games and doing puzzles. My children are too grown up to want to play a game with me, but I have decided to start a jigsaw puzzle. It is quite a difficult one I think so it might take me a few days to finish. I will take a picture of it when I have done it.

Stay safe and I’ll write to you all again very soon.

Love from Mrs Lee xx

To all my little friends,

I hope you are all well and doing lots of reading, writing and all the lovely things that we usually do in class. I especially hope you're being good for mummies and daddies and playing nicely with brothers and sisters.

It has been very busy in Mrs Gillam's house; every morning my children and I join Joe Wicks' PE workout on YouTube which is a really good start to the day. Then we complete all our school work before having some fun in the afternoon.

Cleo (our fluffy, friendly, family dog) is loving all the attention and is really enjoying her daily walk with the family. Speedy the tortoise has come out of hibernation and is currently enjoying the sun in the garden.

I have done lots of work in the garden; planting some flowers, cutting the grass and have now

put up the trampoline for Ollie to bounce on. I am managing to find myself lots of jobs to keep me busy.

I miss you all and cannot wait to see you all again very soon.

Happy Easter to you all.

Much love,

Mrs Gillam

Hi all Pearlies and Sapphires,

I hope you are all being good for your Mummies and Daddies? I am really missing all your little smiley faces greeting me every morning and our little chats about what you've been up to.

I have tried to keep myself busy by doing crosswords, puzzles and reading books everyday to keep my brain active!

Thank goodness for my dog Milo who I can walk everyday to keep my exercise up.

I can't wait to see you all again soon. Love Mrs. Britain xxx
