Weekly email - sent Friday 24th April

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope this finds you all well and that you are continuing to enjoy this beautiful sunshine. It certainly has been so helpful and allowed us all to get outside and enjoy our surroundings. I have loved seeing some of you around and about as I go for my daily walk. I think we are all going to be a lot fitter after this lockdown.

There was another delivery of much needed food and essentials to local families again this week. Mr Sagoo (one of our parents) arranged for the delivery of some fresh food and tinned goods, the local support network sorted it into bags and then a small group of staff delivered it to families. Once again it was well received and really appreciated. Huge thanks go to Mr Sagoo and the Support Network- what a great team!

John at The Feathers is still taking deliveries each day - leave any donations of dried/ tinned goods and family essentials such as shampoo, soap, toilet roll and cleaning goods outside the pub.

COMMUNICATION WITH FAMILIES

Staff have enjoyed the opportunity to talk with children and parents this week and they are really looking forward to talking to those yet to have their call. Staff really appreciated the positive feedback and in return we hope you found the calls helpful and supportive.

Staff have also loved receiving work that has been emailed in to the class email addresses. If you have not done so yet, please email in two pieces of work that your child would like: their teacher to see/ they would like feedback about/ they are proud of. We hope this goes some way to motivating the children and providing the children with support for their learning.
