Junior - Weekly email - Friday 27th November 2020

Dear Parents and Carers

Well here we are again… another week has gone by and your children and our staff have continued to have a great time with quality learning and fun experiences. I can’t believe that November is nearly over but with the number of Christmas trees and decorations that are being dusted down around the schools it is clear that December is nearly here. This is one of my favourite times of year and we are so looking forward to sharing our festive video with you later this term. Please look out for details about this in the coming weeks.

Christmas Cards - We know that lots of children will want to send cards to each other so we have hatched a covid friendly plan of making this happen. Children will be able to bring in cards for their bubble only. The cards need to be at school before 11th December. We will not accept cards after this date. These cards will be placed in a box in class and quarantined. They will be handed out and children will bring them home after Tuesday 15th December. Happy card writing!!!

Accident Free in CSG

Infant School - Thank you to those parking in Blizzards Yard car park and around the village, rather than driving up School Lane or parking on Silver Hill.

There are still some people parking on Silver Hill, across Crossing Corner and across the Keep Clear sign on School Lane. I have contacted some parents directly today about this. Please do get in touch if you experience people blocking pavements and parking inappropriately so we can continue to monitor the situation.

Memorial Hall Car Parks - The car park for the Memorial Hall is not to be used by parents as there are too many children and families walking in this area and we want to keep everyone safe.

Junior School - Thank you to those parking at the playing fields and considerately around the village. It is greatly appreciated.

If you have to drive please park safely and avoid our neighbours driveways. Please also ensure that your parking does not make the road way dangerously narrow for local residents.

Christingle - The village church have sent details of Christingle arrangements for this year - see here for more information

Year 6 - 11+ / Secondary Transfer Test results email - we have had confirmation that the results emails will be sent out by Buckinghamshire Council from 5pm on Monday 30th November. The email will confirm the results and will also give information as to how to proceed with a Selection Review if relevant.  If you are seriously considering making an appeal to the LEA please request an appointment by emailing the School Officeand we will contact you with a time when I will be able to call you to discuss your situation as per the recent letter from school.
