Menu - summer term 2018

Dear All

 

The menu for the Summer term has been added to the school website here and the new will start after Easter (w/c Monday 16th April 2018, week 1).

 

Allergen sheets for all of the menus are available on the School Meals page on the website here.

 

St Josephs kitchen have taken views and opinions from their recent survey to create a menu that should be appealing to both the children and the parents and have asked us to point out the following changes:

 

  • Increase from a four week cycle to a six week cycle to create a menu with more variation.
  • Added more fruit as a dessert option which is a healthier option and very appealing over the forthcoming summer months.
  • To include more cucumber in the daily fresh salad.
  • To have less Beef on the menu.
  • Added a variety of roasts on Wednesdays.
