Letter from Mrs Peal - Monday 6th April

Dear Children,

Happy Easter! I hope you enjoyed the sunshine this weekend and got out in the garden. It was lovely to see some of you (at a distance) when I was out for my walk on Sunday.

Over the weekend I’ve been busy planting vegetables and I grabbed an hour to read my book. There is nothing better than sitting in the sun reading and relaxing even if it is only for a short time.

I hope you are all being helpful and kind at home and following all of the rules to keep us safe and healthy. I saw these pictures and thought they were really good at showing us what we have to do.

The Gruffalo is doing the right thing.

And even the Stick family are doing Joe Wicks each morning!

Phoning to talk to people is such a good idea and really cheers people up.

And if you have to stay at home for a while then there are lots of people who are willing to help you and your families.

I know that your days are very different at the moment but they will go back to being normal. When they do we are all going to be sooooooo excited to see each other!

In order to spread some cheer we have arranged some story telling sessions over the next few days. Watch out for the emails with the links. I hope you enjoy these very much.

We are all so proud of you and hope that you are making the most of the time you have as a family together. I know that all of the staff are missing you but they too are trying to make the best of the situation.

Take care and keep well all of you.

Love Mrs Peal

The school staff received this card from the community Support Group on Saturday saying thank you for all their hard work. I’d like to say a huge thank you to you for all of your hard work. Keep it up! x
