Dear All
We hope that the Year 4 children enjoyed the Benchball festival at Amersham School today. These events are always well run and it is lovely to meet up with former pupils who are now sports leaders at their secondary school.
Children have been very creative this week producing their entries for two different competitions - all year groups have been writing their 500 Words pieces for the BBC Radio 2 500 Words Competition and children in Year 5 and 6 have been painting their entries for the Young Arts competition run by the Arts Society Chilterns. Good luck to everyone.
Year 4 - the Woodrow presentation has been added to the class page of the website here

Accident-Free in CSG - thank you to those who do park away from Parsonage Road and not obstructing driveways in Hillside Close and Lagger Close.
Nut awareness - we have a number of children attending our school who have a severe allergy to nuts - including both peanuts and tree-growing nuts (including hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds and brazil nuts etc). This allergy is not just triggered through ingestion but can also be via touch and inhalation. Under no circumstances are items containing nuts or nut products to be brought onto site, either during the school day or before and after school. i.e. no packets of nuts of any variety for snacks. This request covers all food items in school from break time snacks and lunch boxes to birthday treats that get handed out to the children in class and cake sale items.
Please do not send in items such as sandwiches that contain peanut butter or Nutella / hazelnut chocolate spread on sandwiches and please carefully check ingredients of cereal bars. Your understanding and cooperation on this matter is very much appreciated.
