Junior - Weekly email sent on Friday 27th September

Dear All

It was lovely to see all of the fantastic costumes that Year 3 wore for their Egyptian Day on Wednesday and we hope that they learned lots during the workshop run by Portals to the Past. Year 3 have had a busy week with  their PE Festival this afternoon. The rain held off and they enjoyed their "Capture the Flag" session at Amersham School.

A copy of the literacy presentation from Wednesday is on the website here and the maths presentation is on the Numeracy section here

Safety to and from school - all of our children have today had a reminder about keeping with their allocated adult on their way home from school. Over the weekend please can you talk to your children about how they can keep safe when they are out and about. If there are any questions or concerns please do let us know. We are aware that some children currently walk to school on their own and you may wish to review your plans. This is in light of an incident we have been made aware of locally and also at this time of year it is becoming darker in the mornings and evenings.

PTA - a copy of the PTA Chair's statement is available on the website here. Thank you to Mrs Pearsall and team for all of their hard work over the last year. Thank you to Mr Franklin for stepping forward to Chair the PTA this year.

Crisp packets - we are not collecting the crisp packets this year as we were not registered as a public collection point. The collection scheme changed and we are no longer able to post packets off directly. There are a few local collection points - Robertswood School and Seer Green School are registered public drop off points.

Accident-Free in CSG - Thank you to everyone who is parking away from Parsonage Road and also not obstructing driveways in Hillside Close and Lagger Close. We will be starting Walk on Wednesdays (WOW) next month. Further information to follow.

School photographs - Imago will be taking individual photos at school during the morning on Monday 7th October. We will send home details of how to view these images and place orders online via a secure login, as soon as your images are ready (this should be approximately 3 weeks after the photo shoot).

Second Hand School Uniform - this is available from the school office every Friday 8.45-9.15am or by appointment at other times during the week. We have large stocks of second hand PE bags which we are now selling for 50p each. Second hand  jumpers, trousers, skirts and limited PE kit are also available.
