Junior - Weekly email (sent home Friday 7th December)

Dear All

All of our children had an assembly with the NSPCC on Monday this week and then the charity ran workshops for our Year 5 and Year 6 children on Tuesday as part of their Speak Out Stay Safe programme. In the assembly the children all met Buddy, a friendly, green speech bubble who believes that children should be able to speak out to someone if they're worried or unhappy.

It was lovely to listen to the piano players who gave us an assembly on Wednesday. Thank you to Mrs Downie and all of her pupils for such an enjoyable assembly.

On Thursday the children were entertained by a fantastic production of Peter Pan from M and M Productions. Thank you to everyone who has made a voluntary contribution to this festive event. If you have not yet made a payment and would like to do so , please do so via Parentpay or cash/cheque to the school office.

Thank you to our wonderful PTA for organising and running today's Christmas pop up shop- the children had fun choosing gifts for family, friends and pets!

School photos - ordered photos were received in school yesterday and these have now been sent home with children so please check book bags.

Parking - please can anyone collecting children from school at the end of the day avoid parking in Hillside Close as it is part of our Safe Zone - see map here. We have received complaints from local residents who have been unable to access their drives at the end of the school day. Thank you.

Reading volunteers - many thanks to all of our volunteers who listen to children read in school - there is a lot happening in school over the next two weeks so no afternoon readers are required in school for the remainder of the term.

Year 3 - Year 3 have their show next week - everyone who requested seats has been emailed by the school office to confirm orders. Please park considerately and avoid parking in Parsonage Road and Hillside Close.
