Junior - Weekly email (sent Friday 6th March)

Dear All

What a lovely day we had yesterday for World Book Day - there were some very creative hats/ hair decorations related to everyone's favourite book characters. Thank you to Miss Warner for organising all of the activities that took place in school.

School meals.- we have updated the menu on the website as the baguette/ sandwich options.are not available at our school. The allergen information for the week 2 menu has also been updated  - Schools Meals website page

Sports Relief Day - Friday 13th March - we shall be supporting the Sports Relief charity again this year - children may wear sports kit or PE kit in return for a suggested donation of £1. Please remember that children will still be outside at break times and will need coats and suitable footwear for a day in school

Accident Free in CSG - we have had a recent serious complaint from a neighbour who lives on Lagger Close. The people living on this close are really angry with parents who are parking in the turning circle in particular and causing what has been described as complete chaos. Please avoid this area and allow the turning circle to remain clear so that residents and deliveries can get in and out of the road.

TraidCraft Sale - thank you to Mrs Dykes for running the TraidCraft stall in school this afternoon as part of Fair Trade fortnight. Thank you to the EcoWarriors for their help as well with this hugely

Year 5 - please can you ensure that your children have the correct equipment in school each day. That includes a handwriting pen, ruler and a glue stick as well as the other basics. Lots of time is being wasted in class borrowing or finding equipment.
