Pantomime - it was lovely to welcome MandM Productions into school for their live production of Snow White yesterday. Many thanks to those of you who made a contribution towards the cost of this pantomime. If you have not yet made a contribution and are able to do so please either pay via ParentPay or send in cash to the School Office in a named envelope marked Snow White. Thank you.
PTA Popup Christmas Shop - a huge thank you to the PTA and all of their helpers for running the gift shop this afternoon.
Accident-Free in CSG - Junior School - thank you to those of you who park away from Parsonage Road and who avoid obstructing driveways in Hillside Close and Lagger Close. There are still people parking at the top of Parsonage Road, which means the children then have to walk in the road as there is no room for them on the pavement. This is dangerous for your children, so please do not do this.
Sickness and diarrhoea - please can we remind you that if your child is sick (vomiting) or has diarrhoea they should not return to school until 48 hours after the last episode. This is very important in stopping the spread of any bugs which seem to be more prevalent at this time of year. We shall also be reminding the children of the importance of washing their hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water, particularly after using the toilet and before eating. Thank you for your support.
Christmas Jumper Day - Friday 13th December - in return for a donation to the Iain Rennie Hospice Care charity (we suggest a £1 donation) children may wear a Christmas jumper Children should wear their normal school uniform (shirts and trousers/skirts etc) with either a Christmas jumper or they can decorate their school jumpers.
Christmas Post Box - the Christmas post box is out by the office for children to post their Christmas cards. Please can you ensure that your child's cards are clearly marked with the child's full name and class. Thank you to our Year 6 delivery team.
Residential trips - coloured paper copies of the consent and medical forms for all three residential trips have now been sent home. Blue for Woodrow, Green for PGL and Yellow for France. These are the forms that we need to take on the residential visits so please can you complete and return them by the end of term if possible. Replacement copies are available from the letter holders outside the school office.
Pupil Post - if you have any letters or forms to hand in, either for the PTA or the School Office, children can hand these in to teachers during morning registration or there is a yellow general letter drop box outside the School Office.
Year 3 - Year 3 are busy rehearsing their show at the moment so they have asked that readers don't come in for the rest of term please. Thank you.
