Junior - Weekly email sent Friday 2nd November 2018

Dear All
Welcome back for the second half of the Autumn term.
We hope that the Year 3 children enjoyed competing against other schools at the Capture the Flag PE Festival on Tuesday. The children took part with a great attitude and much enthusiasm despite the cold weather.  Sadly one of this week's football matches was postponed but our U11 team managed a 1-0 victory against St Mary's in Beaconsfield on Wednesday. We have had lots of active maths lessons this week and our EcoWarriors have held their first meeting and have been making lots of plans. Our Year 6 House Captains have been selling poppies in school this week and will be doing so again next week if children wish to buy a poppy.

PTA News
Christmas Gift Shop - due to some difficulty in printing forms from Classlist, we have decided to give a little extra time for Christmas gift shop orders, please could final orders be in by the end of the school day on Monday 5th November, please use the links below to access the form on the school website or hard copies are kindly available outside the school office.  There is no Christmas Fair this year so we really hope you will support our new ideas! PTA letters and forms are on the community page of the website or on the PTA page
Classlist - please remember if you wish to message an individual that there is a messaging function so that these messages do not go to the whole class -if you respond to a post it is shared to everyone. There is also the option to switch off email notification and then you can dip into Classlist app when you wish to rather than receiving every notification.

Many thanks, The Junior School PTA
