Junior - Weekly Email sent Friday 18th October

 Dear All

It was lovely to have some of our former pupils visiting as Sports leaders from the Community College, to run the InterHouse PE on Tuesday afternoon this week. This event is run by the Bucks Schools Sports Partnership team as part of our membership.

Mexicolore brought a whole van load of Mayan and Mexican artefacts and shared their knowledge with Year 5 on Thursday morning.

We have had a busy day today with lots of prospective parents visiting. Thank you to the Governors who showed our visitors around the school and to the School Council children who greeted them in class.

Accident-Free in CSG - thank you to those parking away from Parsonage Road and not obstructing driveways in Hillside Close and Lagger Close. We appreciate the efforts you are making. Those parents who are parking outside the school on Parsonage Road are causing some safety concerns as children are having to walk on the road. Our JRSOs will be coming to look at the parking at the beginning and end of the day so they can plan what steps we need to take to make sure that all children are safe.

E-Safety update for parents - a What parents need to know about Fortnite-Chapter2 leaflet has been added to the E-Safety for Adults page of our website here. Produced by National Online Safety, this is designed to help parents and carers understand exactly what Fortnite is all about.

Sports Partnership Club - details of a club for children in Year 4, 6 and 6 are available here. This fight club is based at Amersham School and places are limited so please apply promptly if you are interested.
