Junior - Weekly email (sent Friday 12th July)

Dear All
Well done to all of the piano players for a lovely assembly on Wednesday. Year 6 had their first aid training sessions yesterday and learned some really useful basic first aid skills. It has been really interesting to see everyone's hobbies today - thank you to those children who shared them with us today.
Garden competition - Congratulations to Ash winners of the class garden competition with their fabulous 'Somewhere over the Rainbow ' themed garden, complete with musical accompaniment! Runners up were Oak with their 'Alice in Wonderland' themed garden. Thank you to our Governors who had the difficult task of choosing a winner from all the worthy entrants and to Mrs Coleman for organising the competition. The children have greatly enjoyed the experience of planning and working in their gardens. A huge thank you to all the parent helpers who came in to help the children with their gardens - your support is greatly appreciated.
Sponsored Walk - the children enjoyed their sponsored walk last week and we enjoyed seeing them dressed as their favourite sportsperson! A big thank you to those of you who have already donated. If you have not yet donated and are able to please donate through ParentPay.
School Reports - these are being sent home with children today. If there are any families where a second printed version of the report is required please can you contact the School Office with details.
