Junior - Weekly Email - Friday 16th July

Dear Parents and Carers
We are delighted to share the news that Mrs English became engaged this week. We are all really happy for her and would like to wish her congratulations from all of the school.
Year 6 - after a brilliant fun day (thank you to everyone who helped to make this such a special day for year 6) Year 6 have also completed their Making Tracks pedestrian safety sessions this week and the final filming of Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits is now in the can (thank you so much to Mr and Mrs Heeley and Mrs Nelson for organising the filming)

PE kits - During the Autumn term we will trial PE kits being worn to school on the days that the children have PE. Parents and children will be advised about PE days at the beginning of the academic year.

Children will need to wear the school PE kit as specified in the uniform policy which is here on the website. Please make sure that warm layers - joggers and badged tops as specified in the uniform policy are worn if required on the day. details of our uniform suppliers PMG are here

Hot school meals - We are pleased to confirm that Hot School Meals will be restarting in September for all Junior School children. Details about menus and ordering will be shared with parents over the summer holidays so please look out for emails from school.
Meds in school - if your child has any medication in school then these will be sent home with your child on Wednesday. If you would prefer to collect them from the office instead please email to arrange this.

Music in school - some of the classes watched an online "Meet the Orchestra" session run by Bucks Music Trust on Wednesday afternoon. Music lessons will restart in the autumn term and details will be sent when available. The Bucks Music Teachers that work with us, are hoping to be able to do some in person demo sessions in classes in the autumn term.

Diary Dates for 2021-2022 - see attached sheet with details of some dates for the next academic year. Term dates are also given at the end of this email

Parental Help at School - We are well underway with our plans for September. We are very hopeful that our return in September will be as near normal as possible. With this in mind we are considering a number of options for lunchtime, before and after school clubs. If you have the skills, knowledge and experience to run a club or support the running of a club please do get in touch with us. This could be anything from art to team games or music. Please email the school offices with your interests and availability. Thank you.
