Junior - Weekly email - Friday 12th November

Dear Parents / Carers

Year 6 had a great time at the Fitness Bootcamp PE Festival at CCC yesterday. The weather held and we hope that they all enjoyed the different challenges.

Year 5 have had a Mexican themed day today and have been cooking and sampling some Mexican food.

Lots of children have been buying books at the Book Fair this week. Thank you to Miss Warner for organising this. The school earns funds from the book fair and these will be used to buy books for use in school.

Walk to School Week - thank you to everyone who has taken part in Walk to School Week. A copy of the Green Cross Code is available here. This shows the steps you need to follow to cross the road safely.

Accident Free in CSG - thank you to those parking at the playing fields and considerately around the village.

Mr Holmes - we are delighted to share the news that Mr Holmes and his wife had a baby boy recently. Mother and baby are both doing well and we send the whole family our warmest congratulations.

At this point we are planning for these events to go ahead with an audience and parents are invited to join us.

If we have local or national restrictions in place, we will record the school based shows/ assemblies and share these with parents. The church based events will be held without an audience or will be held at school.

We are so sorry that there is such uncertainty but please be reassured our main priority is to celebrate this time of year with the children and ensure they have a lovely experience.
