Pencil cases: please can you ensure that your child has the following basics in their pencil case - HB pencils, pencil sharpener (with container), glue stick, eraser, whiteboard pen, handwriting pens (if have pen licence) and a ruler. Please name items whenever possible,
ELSA: We are very pleased to announce that Mrs Rock has recently completed training as an ELSA and is now qualified as an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant. Further details about ELSAs can be found on our website here.
Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed their morning of athletics at Chalfonts Community College on Tuesday as part of their PE Festival. They all took part in a range of athletics events under the supervision of some of CCC's Sports Leaders - several of whom were ex Junior School students. Year 5 also put on a lively assembly on Wednesday showing the highlights of their year. Thank you to them all for an enthusiastic performance and some impressive whole year ukulele playing..

The NSPCC has launched an updated Net Aware site for parents and carers. The site includes tips showing how to help your child block or report someone targeting them and a guide to 39 of the most popular social media sites, apps and games used by children and young people including information about new apps like Pokemon Go, Periscope, IMVU, and Live.ly. Only One You Project: Earlier this week you were sent information about our project which will transform one of our unused outdoor spaces into a safe, sensory, relaxation area for our pupils.
Mr Yalden from Yaldens DIY and Garden Store in Chalfont St Giles has kindly offered to supply the 3 benches, grass seed and paint. We are very grateful for his support and advice. If you are able to offer financial support we will use this to purchase posts, trellis and the top soil we have been advised we will need. You can make your contribution via ParentPay. If you are not able to access ParentPay but wish to make a donation please send in payment to the School Office in a named envelope marked Only One You Project. Thank you.
If you would like to volunteer your time we need to get the following jobs completed in the first 2 weeks of term during school hours.
· sand paper and paint 2 metal benches with hammerite
· clean a small piece of decking and oil it.
· dig over the area ready for grass seed- please bring your own spade and fork
