Dear All

Mrs Head: The school held a special assembly yesterday to say goodbye to Mrs Head who has now left the school to work elsewhere. She very much appreciated all of the kind comments that children had written in the class cards and she enjoyed talking to the children whilst serving lunch yesterday.

School Office: Further to Mrs Head leaving please be aware that there will be times when there may be only one person staffing the School Office. Please be patient during this time. If you and your child are expecting of items which may have been dropped at the office during the school day; please can you remind them to pop along during break times to them, as this will be very helpful. Many thanks for your understanding and support.

Rejoice!: Children from years 3 – 6 will have their art work displayed in Chalfont St Giles Parish Church between May 18 and 21st. This festival ‘Rejoice!’ promises to be a wonderful celebration of art, craft, flowers and music making, so do visit the church on any of these days between 10 and 5 pm.  Entry is free and if you visit between 12.30 and 1 pm you can enjoy a free lunchtime concert!

Website Calendarit is possible to subscribe to events from the school website calendar so that they download into your own personal calendar on your mobile phone, tablet or computer.

All you need to do is visit the calendar on the school website here and click the link called ‘Link the school events to your personal calendar’. You can then choose from three options: to add to your default calendar (for example, on an iPhone it will go to the iPhone calendar); to add it to your Google calendar; or input it to your calendar programme of choice.

Things to know:

  • If the school edits its calendar, the updates will appear automatically in your calendar (the time that this takes to happen will depend on your calendar programme).
  • You cannot edit the events in the school calendar.
  • All events will pull through in one colour only, not the colours set by the school.
  • You can name the calendar and choose how often to receive updates (we recommend you set this to as often as possible).
  •  You can unsubscribe via your own calendar at any time.

If you have any questions or feedback, please let the office know and we can forward them to the school’s website provider

Parent Information Meeting Spring 2017: The presentation given by Mrs Peal has now been added to the school website and can be found here. It covers Growth Mindset, an update from the Governors and a brief overview of 11+ and secondary transfer.
