Junior - Weekly Email

Children In Need:  It was lovely to have a visit from Pudsey Bear this week. There were a lot of hugs and the children have supported the charity by buying Pudsey items.  Thank you to the Misbourne Matins Rotary Club for organising this for us.

Running from Rio and NSPCC:  Well done to all of the children who have been running and jogging from Rio for the past few weeks.  If they are fundraising for the NSPCC please can all sponsor forms and money be returned to school by end of Tuesday 21st November.  Miss Murray will collect up all of the tally sheets and when we have our grand total of distance run we shall update the information on the school blog.

Head Lice:  We have an ongoing problem with head lice in school. Please remember to check your child's hair regularly and if you find any evidence of lice or eggs please treat appropriately.  Further details are available from the NHC Choices website http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/Head-lice/pages/treatment.aspx

Illness:  Should your child present with either sickness or diarrhoea please DO NOT send them to school until they have been clear of either symptom for 48 hours as sticking to this rule greatly reduces the spread of such illnesses both between other children and school staff.

Year 3 Readers:  The children in Year 3 will be rehearsing their play in the afternoons over the next few weeks so no parent readers are required until further notice.  Many thanks.
